Cottage Cheese Buns with Pizza Flavour

Cheesy, savoury, and irresistibly satisfying, these Cottage Cheese Pizza Buns deliver all the joy of pizza in a wholesome, protein-packed bite. Made with oats, eggs, and cottage cheese, they’re soft inside, golden outside, and flavoured with oregano and garlic. Perfect fresh or packed for later, they’re a smart comfort-food snack ideal for breakfast, lunch, or a post-workout bite.

Cottage Cheese Buns with Pizza Flavour

Serves: 6 buns

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 ml (2 cups) cottage cheese (1.5% fat)
  • 3 eggs
  • 175 g oats (5 dl)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp oregano or pizza seasoning
  • 2 pinches garlic powder
  • 100 ml (0.4 cup) shredded cheese (17% fat)

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 200–225°C.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Spoon into 6 mounds on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Top with cheese and extra seasoning if desired.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden.
